Mountain Story

"A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions

Happy Engineers Day!

Image
" The Engineers first Problem in any design situation is to discover what the problem really is!! " Few people even being an engineer doesn't know that in who's memory we celebrate Engineers Day.. or on 15th September to whom we give tribute....So this is my humble try to provide little information about Engineer's Day!! Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (1860-1965) was called a wizard in engineering. He was also called the precursor of economic planning in India. He took an interest not in engineering alone, but was capable of applying his talent to many allied matters connected with the development of the nation.  Bharat Ratn Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvraya. His learned discourse on economic planning in India entitled 'Planned Economy for India and Reconstructing India' was the first available document on the planning effort of the country and it is still held as the parent source matter for economic plann

Conversation between the Pencil and the Eraser

This was actually an e-mail sent by one of my friend.. I found it inspirational... Pencil:  I'm sorry.... Eraser:  For what? You didn't do anything wrong. Pencil:  I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my  mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time. Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong.  Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :) I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and  become smaller (olde

School...

School... A place where people enter in tears rolling over their chicks and after schooling, leaves with the same... But the journey between entering and leaving matters alot! It is the foundation of our future! School is a place where we write with pencils and if there is any spelling mistake we can erase it quickly.. there we are allowed to vanish all mistakes and we have a second chance to do everything.... it can be a simple spelling mistake or fight with bench partner.... Where hiding your answers from your partner is never called selfishness....getting toffee from friends on their birthdays as a treat use to make your day....finishing homework was really a hectic job....being first to finish copying from board was a moment of Pride...choosing color of a sketchpen was tough task.... sleeping early and waking up early was a routine....catching a seat near the window in a bus was called obsession... Those were wonderful days.. Those were SCHOOL DAYS... And that was a SCHOOL....
